Our family started bethecharity.com to document our journey into the undiscovered worlds of being the charity in our community, the concept of renewable energy its sources, alternative energy and recycling.

We are very excited to get this journey started so we can share our discovers with you.
It's about growing stronger as a family through being the charity in our local community and looking after our environment by practicing the arts of  renewables like solar panels or wind energy.

Hi-tech ways to capture enough sunlight per day every day to power everything in a home or business hasn't been discovered yet. The current cost of solar panels can run into thousands of pounds, which would require the panels to produce electricity for years without maintenance in order to see a return on investment. What is needed is more grants available to people to enable them to afford renewable energy in the homes. Advantages of solar power, wind energy facts,
A team at Tel Aviv University, Israel, have developed a new type of superconducting wire using fibres made of single crystals of sapphire. The wire, which could be used in high-powered cables, could carry 40 times more electricity than a copper wire of the same size. The work holds the potential to quickly and effectively transmit large amounts of power from remote wind or solar farms to demand centres without the needs for large amounts of traditional copper-based cables.  Read More
